Alea Iacta Erit

In my last blog, I said it seemed inevitable that Greece would leave the Euro, as a result of which a friend suggested a bet on it, which we agreed: 2 bottles of wine, 1 red, 1 white, £15 each, to be drunk at my place. The bet is that Greece will leave the Euro by the end of the year.

Since the last Greek elections, it does seem that Germany has moved in the direction of being willing to pay more to ensure the future of the Euro, and the Greeks have been becoming more wary of leaving the Euro. Even the main anti-bail out candidate Alexis Tsipras claims he wants Greece to remain in the Euro.

He was born on 28 July 1974, 4 days after the present republic was born. So his Sun conjuncts the Greek Sun, he is in tune with what sort of leader (Sun) the country wants. He is a Leo, with Sun trine Neptune, so he is a natural showman (as is Barack Obama, with Sun in Leo square to Neptune). Venus, Saturn, Mercury conjunct in early to mid Cancer, square to Pluto. There is a hidden (square) nationalist (Cancer) power (Pluto) agenda, and due to the transits of Uranus and Pluto, now is his moment. He quite possibly has Moon conjunct Neptune, as well as Sun trine. So he may not be what he seems. If elected, his terms with the bail-out people may be such that they have to say no, and Greece will leave the Euro, while blaming the Eurozone.

I think the chart for today, set for Athens, is very revealing. All day the Moon (the people) will have been in early Gemini, conjunct Jupiter and Venus and square to Neptune. And the Sun in applying trine to Neptune.

Jupiter in Gemini square to Neptune can be read as false prophets. The people (Moon) want to be saved (Neptune). This is a vulnerable place to be. The right wing candidate Antonis Samaras is promising more of the same, and that is not what the astrology of the day requires. That said, he has Sun conjunct Mars at 1 Gemini, conjoining today’s Moon, and trine to the natal Greek Moon, which is powerful. So he’s going to do well.

It’s looking maybe too close to call. Due to the Neptune influence of the day and in Tsipras’ chart, I’d say he is more favoured. I reckon the outcome will either be another stalemate or a governing left-wing coalition. Either way, Greece doesn’t look like it will proceed down the road of the present bailout conditions, with a bit of renegotiation. A stalemate and the ensuing chaos could lead to a military takeover. Today Mars at 21 Virgo conjoins Greece's Progressed Mars at 21 Virgo.

Forget Europe! There is a bigger war going on right now. China and the US having been engaging each other in a silent war for a while now without anyone really noticing anything.

Your Tsipras' chart is really helpful. I've been exploring astrology for quite some time. Your presentation gives a clearer view to your audience.

As usual clear and to th point. It seems the future for Greece and the Eurozone in general is closer to rethinking an coming to terms with a more moderate view of things. Economical, social, political. The banking, financial, right minded economy measures are just creating cleavage and chaos. More problems than solutions. Europe is giving these ideas a more moderate view. A middle point that benefits the whole will be found sooner or later. It is part of evolution and some of the powers losing their might are still trying to keep their grip on things, but, they are slowly beeing defeated by moderation if not full out blunt confrontation.
Still, hopeful for the best. The middle way will be found for the benefit of all.
Cheers and thanks,
Nic

With all the respect,

Greece has neither exited the Eurozone yet, nor did Mr Tsipras win the majority of the votes. (Although his speech has a more important effect now than before).

But favourable astrology is simply not enough.

To many despaired people in Greece, Mr Tsipras offers an outlet for their anger towards austerity measures and their fear for the future.

Mr Tsipras represents the old establishment in Greece and unfortunately has not come up with solutions to solve the country's problems.
The comparison of his chart to Greece's chart only represents the chance he has, but he doesn't seem to utilize it.
Does it show it on his chart, that he suggests non feasible plans and benefits to the greek public?
Is the current recession in Europe manageable, only on grounds that Mrs Merkel is bluffing???
Check his interview with Christian Amanpour

When a country (such as Greece) takes a loan from the European Union, does it have the right to annul the loan agreement, without presenting a plan to pay the money back?
Is it right for a politician to suggest openly in public to annul a loan agreement,as Mr Tsipras suggested?

What would the European Taxpayers have to say about that, if needed money is taken from them, without paying back, or any plans to be paid back?

I too expected the election to result in stalemate or a left-wing government.

However, what's happened has left Tsipras in a much more powerful position. All he has to do is sit and wait for Samaras' government to collapse, which it inevitably will.

Ok, the elections in Greece have come and gone. Now what?

The fog that has been created by Jupiter and Neptune is still full in play, at least till the end of this month. Venus is still going backwards. So, is there any change visible due to this election? I don't think so...

Do the New Moon set for Cairo and you'll see that austerity/saturn rules the day.
