The next few days are very powerful: Pluto will stand still
in 3 days time, which he does twice a year. I can feel him there, staring
harder than usual, urging change, to bring new life out of the shadows and out
of what might seem unacceptable.
And the next day, the 19th Sept, Uranus will
exactly square Pluto, for the 2nd time this year, part of the
momentous series of squares that the world is experiencing between now and
2015. On a personal level, it intensifies that urge to bring new life, and
creates the disruption that is sometimes necessary to get us out of safe
pathways.
So if you have planets or Angles in the early Cardinal
signs, it is time to seize hold of new developments. Trust them. They will
carry your life forward.
Pluto and Uranus are not safe planets. They are not safe
because life is not safe, not in the sense of being permanently secure and
predictable. Particularly if any change has an unthinkable quality to it, you
can be sure that sooner or later the outer planets will come along and
challenge that. Life needs to keep moving on.
Soulful Neptune also has his
capacity for necessary carnage, sometimes by leading us by the nose to make a
fool of ourselves, loosening our hold on everyday reality, but in so doing
showing us new imaginative possibilities.

The Moon is the fastest moving planet, and in medieval times
was seen as the transmitter of the energies from the other planets (let’s not
take this too literally – astrology is such an absurd proposition that it
forces us to be non-literal, to dance lightly over symbols. And then,

When Pluto exactly stations, the Moon will be in Libra,
bringing a personal relationship focus to the change. As Uranus and Pluto
square up the next day, the Moon will move through Scorpio towards the Mars-Venus
square, moving us away from the reasonableness and considerateness of Libra,
towards the powerful expression of underlying desire and romanticism that is
Moon-Mars in Scorpio square to Venus in Leo. Expect some celebrity break-ups
and scandals! Except we won’t hear about them till later.

once again Dharmaruci, thankyou for another fascinating and insightful astrological piece...they are always appreciated. I have been reflecting of late on the current pluto square uranus events taking place and it seems to me that on one hand we are being introduced to previously unknown (at least to us in this age)freedoms that are truly mind and spirit expanding...and on the other a growing awareness of the inability of most of our systems to cope with this...spiritually. philosophically,intellectually, and societal. This is both fraught and exciting...a neptunian philosophers dream i would suggest:)where we will all be after these astrological mammoths have had their say i don't think anyone truly knows, as it could be so very new for us all. A marine bird comes to mind, i cannot remember the name but it could be the gannet. high up in its nest atop the cliffs, it learns to fly as it jumps out of its nest, as it plunges towards the sea...maybe we right now are learning to fly, as the ground beneath our feet changes structure in every way possible!
